Welcome to Oryxes Reg'd Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers and recently, Lagotti Romagnoli website and thank you for visiting.  Oryxes Reg'd was officially established in 1986 after welcoming my first Ibizan Hound into my home in 1985.  In 2009 Oryxes took the long-anticipated step into the world of the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.  I am a very small hobby kennel and have litters occasionally.  Puppies are born and raised in my home and are available to approved homes only. 
Puppies are vaccinated as per Dr. Jean Dodds limited vaccine protocol.  
 All puppies are evaluated for structure and temperament between 8 and 9 weeks of age before going to their new homes.


Oryxes strives to produce Tollers with playful temperaments and sound structure in addition to good looks and intelligence.  My puppies are registered with Canadian Kennel Club and all breeding stock is carefully screened and health tested prior to being included in my breeding program.

tab for the latest news. Once plans have been confirmed I will be screening for companion and working homes. Application process not yet open, an announcement will be made.

My holding list is not created until there are puppies on the ground that are at least 4 weeks of age. When available, application process involved and puppy placement​ is subject to approval.
Preference is given to repeat owners as well as performance homes.
Puppies are sold on a CKC non-breeding Registration.
